SITUATION
In August 2015, the Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel became overcome with floodwater flowing in through doorways and low windows, after two months of rain fell in a single night.
IMPLEMENTATION
Gravitas International were contacted, and a team was able to activate & install a series of HydroSack®s and HydroSnake®s in a matter of minutes to stem the flow of floodwater into the property.
RESULTS
The HydroSack®s & HydroSnake®s installed were able to slow down the flow of water to the point where any that had already entered the property could be mopped up or pumped away. Due to this application, relevant insurance claims could still be made.
